What is the most popular dish positioner being used?  I have my dish setup, my LNBF arrived today, and my receiver has been ordered so I will be aiming my dish over the weekend.  Would a Prosat 210 work or would I be better off buying something else?

If I remember correctly you are putting up a big 8-12ft BUD that needs a long Linear Actuator, in that case then just about any old analog or 4DTV Bud receiver you can get your hands on cheap should work and yes, that Prosat 210 should fit the bill if it still works correctly.

If you are putting up a smaller 3 - 6 foot dish that uses a small HH type motor then you need to buy a small stand alone mover like a little V-Box type mover.
Don't forget when you attach your dish mover (motor) to the dish to have the dish pointing straight south and then lock everything down so it will track correctly along the Sat. Arc going East and West.

Decent instructions site -  http://www.satellitedish.com/cbandoc.htm#the

I presently have 4 dish movers in use that I use as stand alone. My 10' bud is being moved by a Pansat AP3500 and 3 other v box positioners. I have had no issues with any of them and they all have been in use for years.

Does anyone have a used positioner they would be willing to sell at a reasonable price?

I don't have any old positioner/mover but I PM'd you a website where you can get a new one for 60.00 if nobody else has a used one for you.    It supposedly works on either a screwjack or HH type motor.
